Harley-Davidson Museum commissioned Belle & Wissell to develop a series of seven touchscreen interactives that each tell unique stories about their motorcycles and the people who ride them.

Features include scrapbook-like functionality, integrated short documentary films, timelines, slideshows, and first-person oral histories from the Harley-Davidson Archives.

Over fifty short documentary films were created and integrated into the interfaces—both shot and edited by Belle & Wissell with cinematographer David Waingarten.

A web-based WYSIWYG content management tool was developed specifically for the museum, which empowers the curatorial staff to add future content and quickly edit and publish new exhibit kiosks.

Project Accolades:

The Today Show “Harley-Davidson Museum Preview with Tiki Barber,” 2008
Los Angeles Times “Harley-Davidson Museum is hog heaven,” 2008
MSNBC “Harley-Davidson revs up for museum’s opening,” 2008
