Belle & Wissell designed “True Evel: The Amazing Story of Evel Knievel”, an 8,000 sq. ft. exhibition that includes a wide range of artifacts, ephemera, costumes, x-rays, massive window-walls, infographics–and a 1970s-style arcade game.

Project components included exhibition design for casework and other artifacts, exhibit graphic design, signage components, interactive game and enclosure design, film titles and more.

Working in close collaboration with the Harley-Davidson Museum and exhibit fabricators, the project team worked within impossible timeframes to deliver an experience that tells the complete Evel Knievel story.

The exhibition design utilizes a combination of materials and media to ensure a well-paced and consistently engaging visitor experience.

Project Accolades:

USA Today “Harley-Davidson Museum to pay tribute to Evel Knievel”, 2010
The Times of Northwest Indiana “Evel Knievel remembered and honored with new museum exhibit”, 2010
CTV “True Evel: The Amazing Story of Evel Knievel”, 2010
