Visitors to the SAGE Center in Boardman, Oregon, can step into the world of one of the Pacific Northwest’s most beloved brands. In close collaboration with Tillamook, Belle & Wissell and their team of specialists has reimagined a legacy exhibit as a new interactive experience, bringing the cooperative’s rich dairy heritage vividly to life.
The Tillamook Adventure announces itself from across the room and draws visitors in with an alluring media display at the heart of the exhibit island—a carefully crafted invitation designed to generate curiosity from afar. Once drawn close, a single mechanical dial becomes the key to everything: a tactile, approachable way to navigate the full digital experience.
The nautical spirit of Tillamook’s brand identity runs throughout. Guided by the co-op’s iconic Morningstar sailboat, visitors chart a course between thematic story tiles—each one illuminating a different facet of the brand’s values, its commitment to quality, and the remarkable journey from local dairy farm to table.
This curated collection of brand narratives is crafted to deepen visitors’ connection to Tillamook’s core principles and offer a genuine window into how their high-quality dairy products are made and brought to market.
Woven among them are playful mystery tiles that quiz visitors on what they’ve discovered, gently encouraging them to cross to the other side of the exhibit—where an engaging company timeline rewards the curious.
