“The Story of Belle and Wissell: How It All Began” is an exploratory Story Kit that brings to life the studio’s namesake through the story and illustrated characters of Belle and Wissell.
The studio developed an array of print materials, artifacts, and complementary window display as a design system to deliver the storyline. An opening event with costumed characters supported the theme.
The limited-edition Story Kit (only 250 were produced) includes four illustration story plates, back-story notebook, Wissell’s lab goggles, time travel theory poster, letter with airmail envelope, and colophon signature card.
The Story Kit was created in collaboration with a team of contributors. This project is part of the series “The Story of Belle and Wissell®” from Belle & Wissell Editions.
