The Wing Luke Asian Museum enlisted the team at Belle & Wissell for a number of media experiences and interactives throughout the re-designed Smithsonian affiliate museum in Seattle.
The Community Portrait Lab is a series of small gallery spaces that are each dedicated to a specific group within the Asian community.
A system of touchscreen interactives allows for content additions to be made over time, each having a specific color palette to best represent each group.
Key functionality includes a dynamic attract mode that animates through a set of quotes and significant people. Stories are presented and filtered by users, each supported by a digital gallery of related artifacts, photos, and ephemera.
